Urbanism and landscaping
The municipality of Neguac is part of the Acadian Peninsula Regional Planning Commission. However, in order to facilitate access to a more personalized service, it is possible to obtain the same service at the municipal building in Neguac on Fridays.

Since the Acadian Peninsula Regional Service Commission (APRPC) issues an average of more than 1,000 permits per year, it is important to submit your application early enough not to delay your construction projects.

Garbage collection
The Municipality of Neguac’s garbage collection is handled by the Acadian Peninsula Regional Service Commission. The municipality offers its citizens selective and ordinary collection. The collection of household and selective garbage is carried out alternately, on Friday of each week, between sunrise and 5:00 p.m. In addition, you will find on the calendar at the end of the Villager a small blue or green bin showing the Friday of curbside or ordinary collection.
Formerly known as COGEDES, the service manages each year approximately 25,000 tonnes of waste which is transshipped to the waste treatment center located in the industrial park of the Regional Municipality of Tracadie. These 25,000 tonnes of waste are then sent to the Red Pine sanitary landfill in Allardville in the neighboring region of Chaleur.

Dog registration
As a dog owner, you must make sure to register your pet annually. (See the regulations to this effect at https://www.csrpa.ca/en/dog-control/ )
You must also make sure that at all times, your dog wears the ID plate received during registration on his collar.
With this plate, your dog can be returned to you more quickly if he gets lost and avoids having to pay additional costs for impounding.
To this end, the municipality encourages you to register your dog online at https://www.csrpa.ca/en/dog-control/ It is also possible to register your dog at the municipal building. For more information, call 776-3950.
Travaux Publics
One responsibility of Public Works is to keep streets in good condition. Sidewalks and streetlights increase safety for pedestrians and drivers alike. The municipality has a modern storm sewer system to drain rainwater and snow meltwater. Most residences in the municipality also have access to a sewer system. Note that drinking water in the municipality still comes from private wells.
In the winter our Public Works team keeps our streets clean. To facilitate snow clearing, vehicles cannot be parked along municipal streets between midnight and 7:00 a.m. from November to April inclusively. Streets are sanded to reduce the dangers caused by build-ups of ice. Streets in the municipality are cleared in order of priority.
Streets in the municipality are clearly marked and signs indicate provincial speed limits along roadways. No vehicles are allowed on our public beaches. This decision was made to protect our fragile beach environment.
